As the company grew, managing invoices for all their trips and customers became difficult. They needed an easier way to handle billing, taxes, and regular payments without having to do everything manually.

The goal was to integrate Invoicera with TaxiCaller’s system to automatically generate invoices based on trips, clients, and billing schedules, thereby saving time and reducing errors.

Key Challenges

As TaxiCaller expanded across borders, billing inefficiencies started to impact both drivers and dispatch operators. The team faced:

  • Creating invoices manually for hundreds of partners
  • Handling different currencies and languages
  • Trouble managing recurring payments and subscriptions
  • Issues following country-specific tax rules (like VAT, GST)
  • Late payments due to no automation or reminders

These issues not only slowed operations but also risked client satisfaction and revenue flow.

Our Approach

We proposed integrating Invoicera’s automated invoicing platform to simplify and centralize TaxiCaller’s billing process. Our team:

  • Trips (services) were auto-imported from TaxiCaller to Invoicera
  • Client information was pulled in automatically from TaxiCaller
  • A settings page was created to choose how often each client should get an invoice (weekly, monthly, etc.)
  • Invoicera sent consolidated invoices based on these schedules
  • Invoices were generated in the right currency with correct taxes
  • Reminders were sent automatically to speed up payments
  • Custom invoice designs were used for different regions
